  1. If a payment service provider detects or becomes aware of a technical error in the execution of payment transactions, it shall investigate that error and refund all payment service users who were affected by this technical error within thirty calendar days of its detection or awareness thereof.
  2. The payment service provider shall - as soon as possible - communicate with SAMA and notify it thereof through the appropriate channels.
  3. The payment service provider shall - as soon as possible – communicate with and inform all affected payment service users of the technical error and the steps taken to correct the same, including any amount to be refunded to their accounts.
  4. The payment service provider shall inform SAMA of the reasons for the delay if the correction cannot be made within the period specified in Paragraph [1].
