SAMA may request the payment systems operator to appoint an expert to draw up reports on the operation of the payment system and to specify the requirements for the expertise and specializations of the expert to be appointed, the content of the report, the mechanism for dealing with the report, including disclosure and publication, and the specified time period, depending on the following cases:
| A. | If the payment system operator does not observe, as required, the guidelines, standards and principles stipulated in the Principles for Financial Market Infrastructure. | ||
| B. | If the report is determined to be necessary for any other reason in relation to enabling SAMA to perform its duties regarding payment systems in accordance with the provisions of the Law and Regulations. | ||
