In reference to the Central Bank Circular No. 381000101035 dated 1438/10/09 AH regarding contracting with money transfer companies and using high-spec security bags, and the Central Bank Circular No. 361000156181 dated 1436/12/25 AH concerning the necessity of adhering to the regulations and instructions related to cash transport, and the security safety guide, as well as the Institution Circular No. 15475/M AT/306 dated 1428/04/12 AH regarding the regulation of cash transport for local banks and exchange shops, and the Institution Circular No. 49302/M AT/940 dated 1428/12/22 AH which includes the system for the operation of transporting cash and precious metals issued by Royal Order No. M/81 dated 1428/10/18 AH.
Therefore, the Central Bank emphasizes the necessity of reviewing and complying with the provisions of these regulations and instructions issued in this regard, as well as what is stated in the security safety guide and the specific requirements for vehicles used for transporting cash and items of value exceeding 200,000 Riyals. Anyone found to be transporting money or receiving transferred cash in an irregular manner will be subject to legal penalties.
