The Directorate is authorized to obtain any additional information that the Directorate deems necessary to properly carry out its analysis. In cases where a financial institution has not submitted a report under Article 15 of this law, or the Directorate’s request does not relate to a report submitted by the requested financial institution, the Directorate shall requests to provide the requested information only through the supervisory authority. The FIs, DNFBPs and NPOs shall provide what has been requested promptly.

The Directorate may obtain any financial, administrative or legal information and any relevant information collected or maintained by or on behalf of public authorities that it considers is necessary to carry out its function as per the legal provisions set out.
