SAMA may refuse the licensing application when the data, information or documents provided by the Applicant do not satisfy the requirements stipulated in Article 8 and Article 9 of the Implementing Regulation or when the additional requirements have not been met within the specified period provided that the refusal must be justified.

The Applicant may submit a request to reconsider the rejected application if a period of twelve months has passed from the date of rejection or any shorter period specified by SAMA.
