Further to SAMA Circular No. (391000077627) dated 09/07/1439 H supplementary to Circular No. (391000054107) dated 12/05/1439 AH approving the implementation guide for the mechanism for implementation of Security Council resolutions related to the prevention of proliferation of arms of mass destruction and its financing;
We would like to inform you of the amendment of paragraph (3-4) of the above-mentioned guide to be as follows: In the event that a financial institution does not find that it is in possession or under management of any targeted funds, such institutions shall immediately report to SAMA any transactions they have conducted with a former customer or transient customer that turns out to be a person, group or entity listed by the Security Council.
