In continuation of the previous instructions from the Central Bank issued under Circular No. 371000018717 dated 14/02/1437 H regarding the confirmation of banking information confidentiality instructions and the prohibition of disclosing customer data and information without obtaining the Central Bank's non-objection, and Circular No. 391000079052 dated 18/07/1439 H concerning the instructions for providing governmental and non-governmental entities with documents, information, and data related to customers' bank accounts.

The Central Bank emphasizes the importance of banks and financial institutions adhering to the following:

First: Regularly educating their employees on the principles of banking confidentiality, the instructions issued in this regard, and the penalties for violations, along with monitoring compliance through periodic surveys.

Second: Establishing an internal policy for banking confidentiality that includes the following elements: (the importance of banking information confidentiality, the mechanism for handling banking information, the mechanism for disclosing this data and banking information, the penalties for violating the issued instructions in this regard, and the mechanism for monitoring employee compliance with banking confidentiality instructions on a regular basis).
